I disagree.
If the definition of life is getting your own space,
then we might as well end our existance now.
if we are to trap ourselves in the name of life,
we bear a paradox as simple as ever, yet strangely encouraged.
I don't see this as an either / or situation. Yes we are in the space of manifestation and "getting your own space" AND yes we are in the space of "no space and time," the space of unity. Both are true simultaniously. (See David Bohm on Quantum Physics for evidence.) "In the beginning" (at least hypothetically) everything was condensed into a single point. In the incomplete but useful "Big Bang Theory," there was only unity, god, singularity or what have you. At that point there was however no individuality because everything was part of this unity.
Then there was a crack, break, splitting, distinction,
big bang, manifestation or what have you. Things
begin to spread out: migration. Individuality is now possible.
And we can look for our own space, place, or as Virginia Wolf put it, "A Room
Of One's Own," the place where creativity can take place.
